Yusaku Mizoguchi
Director / Writer / Producer
Yusaku Mizoguchi (Director/Writer) was born and raised in Tokyo, Japan. His love for cinema/movies (especially American New Wave) led him to study film directing at New York University and Columbia College, Chicago. Upon graduation with a B.A. in Film Directing at Columbia College, Chicago, he moved to Los Angeles and worked his way through movie studios such as Warner Bros, Disney/ABC, and other production companies. He directed dozens of short films that were screened at international film festivals before he directed his first feature film, “Mafiosa”
"Mafiosa" won the Best Action Feature Film Award at the Hollywood Reel Film Festival, Grand Jury Best Feature Drama Award from the Los Angeles World International Film Festival, Best Crime Feature Film Award from the Vancouver Filmdance Festival, and also received numerous awards and nominations.
"Sae" is Yusaku's second feature film.

Newcomer Luna Fujimoto is gaining traction as a skilled martial artist and a grounded actress. Born in Tokyo, Japan her love for dance took her to NYC where she studied at LaGuardia High School of Music and Art and Performing Arts. Fast forward to the present time with Fujimoto's breakout role in "Blade of the 47 Ronin" and soon to be released "untitled Sony action film" with director Oliver Thompson.
Fujimoto trained at the Beijing Film Academy giving her the opportunity to study theater acting. She also picked up Wing Chun and expanded her repertoire to include stage combat skills. Her action reel on Twitter went viral with over 2 million views. Add to this her mastery of 3 languages: English, Japanese, and Mandarin and you have a budding tour de force.

Her latest short film, Consumption, has won multiple awards, including Best Short Film and Best Actress at the Top Indie Film Awards, and was selected for the Silicon Beach Film Festival, showcasing her talent both in front of and behind the camera.
